Inventive Thinking

What It Does

Inventive Thinking deconstructs the end-user value in existing products and services.

Unlike other brainstorming and innovation techniques, we ask questions designed specifically to isolate and eventually reconstruct the valuable components, features, and contextual attributes of an offering.

Inventive Thinking provides valuable feedback on how to enhance the end-user experience, as they define it.

How It Works

We design questions based on the five patterns of Inventive Thinking known to trigger creativity and produce valuable concepts.  When working with a set of pre-fabricated patterns respondents are, ironically, much better brainstormers than when there are no limits on thinking.

Projects framed by Inventive Thinking generate new and unprecedented product and service concepts.  They can also provide shrewd insights into the positioning of existing offerings as well.
